Google has officially confirmed that Android 16 will have a stable release in June 2025. If Google targets an early June launch, Xiaomi devices may begin receiving the update by late June; otherwise, we can expect the rollout to start in July 2025.
Xiaomi is known for being one of the fastest non-Google OEMs to adopt the latest Android versions. This was evident with Android 15, and the brand is already progressing with Android 16, releasing its beta version for select devices ahead of the full rollout
While Xiaomi hasn’t officially confirmed the list of supported devices or an exact release date, we’re closer than ever to the update. Based on Xiaomi’s update policy and past trends, here’s a list of Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices likely to receive Android 16.

Expected Rollout Timeline
While Xiaomi has begun releasing the Android 16 beta for selected models, the stable update hasn’t been scheduled yet. However, based on historical trends, Xiaomi usually rolls out its stable build within a couple of weeks after Google’s release. For example, Android 15 was released on October 15, 2024, and Xiaomi devices started receiving it in early November.
Given this, Android 16 could start reaching Xiaomi phones by late June or early July 2025. As always, flagship and premium models, such as the Xiaomi 15 and 14 series, will receive the update first, followed by mid-range and entry-level devices.
